Dr Amritha has over 10 years of experience in Paediatrics. It was when she became a mother herself she was driven towards helping other mothers feed their babies. Dr Amritha is an IBCLC (International Board of Certified Lactation Consultant) and has been passionately working in the field of Breastfeeding and Lactation since last 10 years.
She believes that spending time with a mother and the baby and case to case thorough analysis is required to know what’s the underlying problem. As Paediatricians, we often overlook the problem and the mother is advised to start alternative feeds without proper guidance as to how to go ahead or how to taper it and stop.
